Yesterday I wrote a first post on the Australian wildfires.
Here is the information to catch you up if you missed it:
Two day ago it is predicted that the fires burned 14.5 million acres and that about half a BILLION native animals have been killed and that number is only rising. Many people have been displaced or seen their homes burn and that's not even touching on the impact this fire has on climate change. Also, important to mention that Australia's peak fire season is only just starting. 1
We need a lot more people involved in helping this huge negative event so here is a second highlight of people taking charge, spreading kindness and making a difference.
There is a Sikh group in Australia giving our free meals to those affected. They have been doing it for days now.
Full Story here.
I mentioned yesterday how we are all interconnected in this world, from Pink to a local Sikh group, to me typing this article we all have a part to play in making this world a better place. Use what you have available (since I know we don't all have the money or resources to do what we wish we could) to make some positive impact. Every small action even if you think it's too small leads to bigger and wider change.
Love and Light to you all and until tomorrow.
