So let's talk about the elephant in the room. Or should I say the slimy and sneaky microbe in the room. (I felt bad associating an elephant to this thing, elephants are just too kind and cute!)
Yes I am talking about COVID-19, the Corona Virus. I feel like the Corona virus has overtaken everything lately, everywhere I got there it is. It's on social media, it's a topic at work, I am hearing people at the coffee shop talk about it. All radio channels talk about it on my morning commute. There is really no escaping it.
At first I got caught in the panic. Than I realized something. We can't let fear rule our lives or our actions. Like a favorite quote of mine says "Worrying is suffering twice". So here I am to show you some kindness amongst this time which is anxiety inducing. But it's also a time where kindness is needed more than ever.
1) A man does not panic and shares his sickness prevention supplies with someone in need.
We all want to keep out families safe but we can't let fear make us hoard equipment. Yes, we are all special, unique and important beings, yes we want to protect those we love, but by hoarding equipment you are preventing someone out there who also deserves protection from having some and from protecting their families the way you are doing for yours.
Full story about this example of kindness that we desperately need right now can be found here.
2) A important quote to remember about fear.
3) And here is an elephant being kind because like I said, elephants make me happy and remind you that everything can be tackled. As the quote says "how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time"
That's it for today. Remember, be smart, stay calm, overcome fear and most of all, be kind.
Love and Light to you all and until tomorrow.
