It's back to work and I have had a bit of a though week. So today's post is about letting yourself feel what you need to feel.
There is a great movie called inside out. In the movie all the emotions inside a child's brain are working together to keep the child healthy. Sadness is not allowed to touch anything because sadness is bad. But by the end Sadness infects all the others emotion and the child cries everything out and feels much better.
All this to say that sometimes to be kind to yourself is to allow yourself to feel your sadness and not judge yourself for it.
